Mia, Leo, and Zoe are young explorers who travel between planets in a small silver ship. When they land on a world covered in soft, fuzzy grass, Mia rushes out and spots what look like giant pizzas growing in a sunny clearing. Before Leo can stop her, she picks three of them, certain they are food. A small moss-green creature named Elder Pippa, the garden keeper, then steps out from behind a bush and gently tells the children that these are the community garden plants that feed her whole village.

Mia is ashamed of what she has done, and all three children apologize and offer to help. Elder Pippa accepts, and the children learn how the villagers water and sing to the pizza plants, harvest only what they need, and share the food at their community picnics. Leo maps the garden with his gadget, Zoe photographs everything, and Mia plants a new seed. The visit ends with a picnic where the explorers and villagers exchange stories and snacks from their two worlds.

The story is about asking permission before taking what belongs to others, respecting another culture's customs, and making amends when you have made a mistake. It also shows how sharing food and stories can turn strangers into friends. Written for young children, the tale is suited to reading aloud at home or in the classroom, and it gives adults an easy starting point for talking with children about honesty, apology, and care for a community's resources.

Mia, Leo, and Zoe were explorers who loved to visit new planets. One day, their small silver ship landed on a world covered in soft, fuzzy grass. Mia, with her curly black hair in two puffs, jumped out first. Her yellow boots bounced on the squishy ground. "Wow!" she cried, her dark brown eyes wide. "This place is amazing!" 1

Leo, tall and lanky, adjusted the round goggles on his forehead and scanned the area with his gadget. "I don't detect anything dangerous," he said, his green eyes serious. Zoe, the youngest, snapped a photo with the camera hanging from her neck. Her long braid swung as she skipped. "Everything looks so friendly!" she said, her round cheeks glowing with excitement. 2

Suddenly, Mia pointed. "Look! Giant pizzas!" There, in a sunny clearing, grew huge round plants with crusty edges and red, sauce-like centers. They looked exactly like pizzas! "I love pizza!" Mia shouted, and before Leo could stop her, she ran over and started picking one. "Wait!" Leo called, but Mia was already pulling at a cheesy-looking leaf. 3

Leo frowned and scanned the plant with his gadget. "These aren't pizzas," he said. "They're some kind of living plant. We should be careful." But Mia had already picked three big ones. "They're for eating!" she said. "Come on, try one!" Zoe took a photo but looked worried. "Maybe we should ask someone first?" she said softly. 4

Just then, a small, round creature waddled out from behind a bush. She had soft moss-green skin, fuzzy white hair tufts, and tiny leaf-shaped ears. She wore a woven reed tunic and a necklace of seed pods. Her large amber eyes looked sad. "Please don't pick our garden plants," she said in a gentle voice. "These are our community gardens." 5

Mia dropped the plant she was holding. Her freckled face turned red. "Oh no!" she said. "I'm so sorry! I didn't know." Leo stepped forward. "We should have asked permission," he said. Zoe, the peacemaker, said, "We're very sorry. Can you tell us about your plants?" The creature smiled a little. "I am Elder Pippa, the garden keeper. These plants feed our whole village." 6

Elder Pippa explained, "Our pizza plants grow slowly. We water them, sing to them, and harvest only what we need. Then we share the food at our big community picnics." Mia looked at the ground. "I picked them without asking. That was wrong." Leo nodded. "We respect your culture. Can we help fix what we did?" Zoe added, "We'd love to learn more." 7

Elder Pippa's amber eyes twinkled. "Apology accepted. Come, I'll show you how we grow and gather our food." She led them to the garden, where other moss-green villagers were gently tending the plants. They used special wooden tools to harvest the crusty edges and collected the sauce-like centers in woven baskets. "We never take more than we need," Pippa said. 8

Mia, Leo, and Zoe helped water the plants and learned to sing the garden song. Leo mapped the garden with his gadget so the villagers could keep track of their crops. Zoe took photos of everything and showed them to the villagers, who giggled at their own pictures. Mia carefully planted a new pizza plant seed. "I want to help it grow," she said. 9

As the sun began to set, Elder Pippa clapped her hands. "You have been wonderful helpers. Now, let's have a picnic to celebrate our new friendship!" The villagers brought out blankets and baskets full of pizza-plant treats: crispy crusts, cheesy leaves, and sweet sauce berries. Mia's silver starshaped backpack was soon filled with snacks to share. 10

Mia looked at her friends. "I'm glad we said sorry," she whispered. Leo grinned his gap-toothed grin. "Me too. And now we get to try their food!" Zoe was already taking photos of the feast. Elder Pippa invited them to sit in a circle. "We always share stories before we eat," she said. "Will you tell us about your world?" 11

Leo told them about Earth's oceans and mountains. Zoe showed photos of her family and pets. Mia taught the villagers a clapping game from her school. The villagers laughed and clapped along. Then Elder Pippa told a story about the first pizza plant, and how sharing food makes everyone friends. The children listened with wide eyes. 12

At last, it was time to eat. The children tried pizza-plant slices with crunchy crusts and tangy sauce. They shared Earth snacks from Mia's backpack: fruit bars and crunchy crackers. The villagers loved them! "Food tastes better when it's shared," said Elder Pippa. Mia nodded. "And when you ask first," she added, and everyone laughed. 13

As the stars came out, the children knew their adventure was ending. They thanked Elder Pippa and all the villagers. "You taught us so much," said Zoe. "We'll never forget your kindness." Mia gave Pippa a small star sticker from her backpack. "For you," she said. Pippa placed it on her seed-pod necklace and smiled warmly. 14

The three explorers walked back to their ship, waving goodbye. "That was the best planet ever," said Mia. "And we almost ruined it by not asking," said Leo. Zoe nodded. "But we fixed it by saying sorry and learning about their culture." They climbed into their ship, their hearts full of happy memories.
