High above Saturn, a carousel spins around the planet's icy rings, and Mira — a girl with curly black hair in two puff buns and a teal jacket covered in star patches — steps aboard for the ride of her life. Beside her sits Toby, a ginger-haired boy with round glasses and a tool pouch full of gadgets, while Pip, a glowing lavender sprite in an orange safety vest, darts ahead to scout the glowing path between the rings. Captain Luna, watching from the control booth, reminds every young explorer that safety comes first.
When a sudden jolt rattles the chain linking the carriages, a small blue carriage carrying two children drifts away from the rest. Mira stays calm, radios the captain, and works with Toby to bring the stranded riders back. Toby's magnetic grapple hook, Pip's scouting flights, and Mira's careful steering all matter, but so does listening to Captain Luna's guidance and pulling together when a single pair of hands is not enough.
The story follows a rescue built on teamwork, patience, and clear thinking under pressure, showing young readers that courage often means staying calm and asking for help. It is suited to children who enjoy space adventures, and to parents and teachers looking for a gentle tale about cooperation and safety.

A Chapter from the Book
The Saturn Carousel Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN
High above Saturn, a carousel spun around the rings. It was the Saturn Carousel, the most wonderful ride in space. Mira, a girl with curly black hair in two puff buns, stepped aboard. She wore a teal jacket covered in star patches. Her silver safety belt clicked shut. 'Buckle up, everyone!' she called, her hazel eyes bright. The carousel gleamed under the stars, ready for adventure. 1
Captain Luna stood at the control booth, her navy suit trimmed in gold. She wore a white cap with a headset. 'Welcome, young explorers,' she said. 'The carousel will circle Saturn's rings. Remember, safety first!' Mira sat in a shiny carriage shaped like a rocket. Beside her sat Toby, a boy with ginger hair and round glasses. He clutched a small tool pouch. Pip, a glowing lavender sprite, zipped around them. 2
The carousel began to spin. It glided along a glowing path between Saturn's icy rings. The rings sparkled like a million diamonds. 'Wow!' gasped Mira, her freckled nose pressed to the window. Toby adjusted his glasses and grinned. 'Look at that view!' Pip's tiny wings buzzed as she darted ahead, her orange safety vest flapping. Captain Luna's voice came over the radio: 'Enjoy the ride, but stay in your seats!' 3
The carousel swooped and swirled around the rings. Each carriage was linked by a glowing chain. Mira laughed as they passed a giant ice crystal. Toby checked his magnetic grapple hook, a tool he had brought for fun. 'You never know when you need a gadget,' he said. Pip did a loop-the-loop, leaving a sparkly trail. But then, with a sudden jolt, the chain rattled. Mira's carriage lurched. 4
A red light flashed on the dashboard. 'Uh-oh,' said Toby, pointing. 'The chain is loose!' The carriage behind them, a small blue one, drifted away from the rest. Inside, two little kids waved their arms. Mira's heart beat fast, but she stayed calm. 'Don't worry,' she said. 'We'll figure this out.' She pressed the radio button. 'Captain Luna, we have a problem!' 5
Captain Luna's voice crackled back. 'Stay calm, Mira. The blue carriage has detached. Do not unbuckle your belts. I'll guide you.' Mira looked at Toby. 'We need to bring them back.' Toby nodded, his ginger cowlick bouncing. 'I have an idea!' He held up his magnetic grapple hook. 'If we can get close enough, I can hook the carriage and pull it in.' Pip zipped to the window, antennae glowing. 6
'Pip, can you scout ahead?' Mira asked. 'Check the ring path and see if it's safe.' Pip nodded, her tiny wings buzzing. She shot out of the carriage, her orange vest a bright dot against the stars. In a moment, she was back, pointing to a clear path between two icy rocks. 'Good job, Pip!' said Toby. 'Now, let's move closer. Mira, can you steer?' Mira gripped the controls. 7
Mira carefully steered their carriage toward the drifting blue one. Toby leaned out, his blue gloves gripping the grapple hook. 'Just a little closer,' he muttered. The gap was still too wide. 'We need more speed,' said Mira. 'But safety first— everyone hold on!' She pushed the throttle gently. The carriage edged forward. Pip flew alongside, signaling with her glowing antennae. 'Almost there!' Toby called. 8
Toby swung the grapple hook. It clanked against the blue carriage but didn't catch. 'Try again!' urged Mira. He swung once more, and this time the magnet locked onto the carriage's safety bar. 'Got it!' Toby cheered. But the blue carriage was heavy. 'I can't pull it alone,' he said. 'We need teamwork.' Mira nodded. 'Let's all pull together. On three!' They tugged, but it was no use. 9
Just then, Captain Luna's voice came through. 'Mira, I'm sending a rescue line from the main carousel. It will attach to your carriage. Then we can reel you both in.' A thin, glowing cable shot out and clicked onto their carriage. 'Toby, keep the grapple hook tight,' said Mira. 'Pip, guide the other carriage.' Pip flew to the blue carriage and spoke to the children inside. 'Hold on!' she chirped. Everyone held their breath. 10
Slowly, the rescue line pulled. Mira's carriage moved backward, and Toby's grapple hook kept the blue carriage close. 'It's working!' cried Toby. But then the line jerked. 'The cable is snagged on an ice rock!' said Mira. She looked at the path ahead. 'Pip, can you free it?' Pip zoomed to the snag and tugged with her tiny feet. The cable slipped free. 'Great job, Pip!' cheered Mira. 11
With the cable free, the rescue line pulled them all back toward the main carousel. The blue carriage clicked back into place. 'We did it!' shouted Toby, his dimpled chin beaming. The little kids in the blue carriage waved happily. Captain Luna's voice praised them: 'Excellent teamwork, explorers! Now, let's finish the ride safely.' Mira let out a big breath and smiled her gap-toothed smile. 'Everyone, check your belts!' she reminded. 12
The Saturn Carousel spun on, all carriages linked once more. The rings glittered like a golden necklace. Mira looked at Toby and Pip. 'We make a great team,' she said. Toby grinned. 'And we followed safety rules!' Pip did a happy flip. Captain Luna announced, 'One more loop around the rings, then we head home.' The children cheered. The carousel sailed smoothly through the stars.
