Walter is a curious whale who loves exploring the deep blue sea. One day he discovers something unexpected set into a rocky wall: a small glass window. Peeking through it, he sees a tiny hidden garden full of glowing seeds and little gardeners with leaf-shaped hair and petal caps. Pip, the head gardener, Mabel, the keeper of secrets, and young Bruno welcome him, and although Walter is far too big to step inside, the gardeners bring their flowers to the glass so he can share in their world.
Their friendship grows as Walter visits daily, trading stories of the wide ocean for lessons about planting glowing seeds. When shifting rocks and a coming storm threaten to crush the garden and break the window, Walter uses his great size to brace the wall and shield his small friends through the worst of the currents. Together they keep the garden safe, and the gardeners come to see Walter as part of their world.
The story gently explores curiosity, kindness and cooperation, showing how an open window, and an open heart, can turn a stranger into a friend. Young readers who enjoy gentle animal tales and magical hidden places will find much to love here, and the book offers a warm starting point for talking about helping others and welcoming visitors.

A Chapter from the Book
The Whale's Window Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN
Walter the whale swam through the deep blue sea, his tail swishing and his round eyes sparkling with curiosity. Sunbeams danced on his speckled belly as he explored a rocky corner he had never seen before. Something shiny caught his eye. It was a small glass window set into the rock wall! Walter blinked and swam closer, wondering what could be inside. 1
Through the window, Walter saw a tiny garden bursting with color. Little flowers waved, and glowing seeds twinkled like stars. Tiny creatures with leaf-shaped hair and petal caps were busy watering and planting. One wore a red petal cap and carried a shell watering can. Walter's heart raced with wonder. "Hello!" he called softly, his big voice rumbling gently through the glass. 2
The tiny gardeners froze, their eyes wide. Then the one in the red petal cap stepped forward. "I'm Pip, head gardener!" she squeaked. "And this is Mabel, our keeper of secrets, and Bruno, our youngest." Mabel adjusted her round glasses and smiled kindly. Bruno, in blue overalls, waved his little bucket of glowing seeds. "You're huge!" Bruno giggled, his gap-toothed grin making Walter laugh. 3
Walter pressed his nose gently against the window. "What is this place?" he asked. Mabel explained, "This garden is hidden behind the glass, safe from big ocean currents. The window lets in light and shows us the sea." Walter's eyes widened. "So it's like a window to your world!" Pip nodded. "And you're our first visitor. We've never had a whale before!" 4
Bruno tugged at Pip's tunic. "Can we show Walter the garden?" Pip thought for a moment, then nodded. "But he's too big to come inside. We can bring the garden to him!" The gardeners filled tiny pots with glowing flowers and carried them to the window. Walter watched as a rainbow of colors bloomed against the glass. "It's beautiful!" he whispered. "Like a painting that moves!" 5
Walter visited the window every day. He brought stories of the wide ocean and the creatures he met. The gardeners told him about their secret garden and how they grew glowing seeds that lit their world. Bruno showed Walter how to plant a seed in a tiny pot, and Walter carefully used one fin to help. "You're a natural gardener!" Pip declared, giving Walter a seaweed bracelet. 6
One morning, Walter arrived to find the gardeners looking worried. "The big rocks above the garden are shifting," Mabel said, her crinkly eyes filled with concern. "A storm is coming, and it might crush our home!" Bruno pointed to a crack in the rock wall. "The window could break!" Walter looked at the little gardeners and knew he had to help. "Don't worry," he said. "I'll protect you." 7
Walter swam up to the rock wall and pushed his big body against it. The rocks groaned but held. "I'll be your rock!" he called down to his friends. The gardeners cheered. They quickly gathered their seeds and tools, moving them to a safer spot. Walter used his broad tail to sweep away loose stones and his fins to steady the wall. The tiny gardeners worked together, and Walter felt proud to help. 8
The storm came with swirling currents and dark water. Walter stayed by the window, his body blocking the worst of the waves. The little gardeners huddled inside, watching the glass tremble. "Hold on!" Walter shouted. He pressed his nose against the window and smiled. "I'm right here." The gardeners felt braver. They sang a tiny song, and Walter hummed along, his deep voice a gentle rumble. 9
The storm passed, and the sea grew calm. Walter gently moved the rocks back into place, making the wall stronger than before. The window was safe, and the garden inside was unharmed. Pip hugged Walter's fin. "You saved us!" she said. Mabel smiled and handed Walter a tiny flower. "You're part of our garden now." Bruno danced around, scattering glowing seeds that sparkled like tiny stars. 10
Walter realized something important. "If I hadn't been curious about your window, we would never have met," he said. Mabel nodded wisely. "Curiosity opens new windows on the world. It brings friends together." The gardeners agreed. They decided to keep the window open for other curious visitors. Walter promised to tell other sea creatures about the hidden garden, but only kind ones, of course. 11
From that day on, Walter visited the window every day, sometimes bringing new friends. A little seahorse came to peek, and a shy starfish waved. The gardeners welcomed everyone with open arms. Bruno gave each visitor a glowing seed to plant. "Our garden is growing!" he said happily. Walter's seaweed bracelet reminded him of the day he found the window and made friends. 12
Walter and the gardeners worked together to make the garden even more beautiful. They planted new flowers that glowed in the dark, and Walter helped build a tiny bridge over a puddle. Pip gave Walter a tiny hat made of a shell, and Mabel told stories of the sea. The garden became a joyful meeting place for all kinds of creatures, big and small. 13
One day, Mabel called Walter to the window. "We have a surprise," she said. The gardeners had made a tiny painting of Walter, hanging it inside the garden. "Now you're always with us," said Bruno. Walter's eyes filled with happy tears. "And you're always in my heart," he said. They shared a special moment, knowing their friendship would last forever.
