The Bubble Monster is a children's fairy tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN that turns a simple, everyday pleasure, blowing soap bubbles, into the starting point of a small adventure. At the centre of the story is a creature made of bubbles themselves, a playful monster whose fragile, shimmering body can pop at any moment. Rather than being frightening, the monster invites young readers to look closely at something that seems ordinary and discover a character, a mood and a little mystery inside it.
Through short, gentle scenes the tale explores curiosity, friendship and the idea that things which do not last can still matter a great deal. Children follow the bubble monster as it drifts, changes shape and meets the world around it, and along the way they are encouraged to think about imagination, kindness and the small wonders they can find in their own gardens, balconies and bath-time games. The language is simple and rhythmic, suited to being read aloud at bedtime or enjoyed by early readers on their own.
The book is aimed at young children roughly between the ages of four and eight, and at the parents, grandparents and teachers who read with them. It works well as a first introduction to fairy tales with a modern, playful tone, and it offers adults an easy way to start conversations about feelings, change and creativity after the last page is turned.

A Chapter from the Book
The Bubble Monster Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN
In a cozy little town nestled between green hills, there lived a cheerful monster named Bobo. Bobo was round and squishy, with soft mint-green fur, big amber eyes, and a wide smile with two tiny fangs. He wore a yellow duck-shaped bath hat and carried a pink scrub brush everywhere. Bobo loved bubble baths more than anything else in the world. 1
Every afternoon, Bobo filled his bathtub with warm water and a special bottle of magical soap. The soap made the biggest, fluffiest bubbles in town. Bobo would sing and splash, and bubbles would float out the window and drift down the street. The townspeople smiled and waved. They were used to Bobo's bubbly habits. 2
But one sunny afternoon, Bobo was extra excited. "Just a little more soap," he said, tipping the bottle. Glug, glug, glug! The soap bubbled and frothed. Bubbles rose higher and higher, filling the bathroom. Bobo giggled. "So many bubbles!" But then the bubbles pushed open the door and spilled into the street. They were bigger than Bobo himself! 3
The bubbles grew and grew. They lifted cars, lampposts, and even the bakery's sign. People gasped as their houses began to wobble and float! Slowly, the whole town started to rise into the sky, carried by giant, shiny bubbles. Bobo's eyes went wide. "Oh no! My bubbles are lifting the town!" He knew he had to fix this. 4
Bobo ran to the town square, where everyone was gathered. "I'm sorry!" he cried. "I used too much soap!" The mayor looked worried. "We need a plan." Just then, a short woman with curly black hair and round glasses stepped forward. "I'm Pip the plumber," she said. "I know about bubbles. We can pop them safely with the right tools." 5
Pip pulled a wrench from her tool belt and a coil of hose. "We'll need to catch the bubbles and bring them down gently," she explained. "But we can't do it alone." A brave girl named Mia raised her hand. She wore a red raincoat and yellow boots, and her black braids swung as she nodded. "My friends and I can help!" she said. 6
Mia called her friends, and a group of children gathered. Little Theo, with messy ginger hair and oversized goggles, held up a butterfly net. "I'm ready!" he cheered. Pip handed out nets and wands. "We'll pop the bubbles one by one, and the houses will float back down," she said. Bobo felt a little better. "Thank you, everyone!" 7
The team set to work. Mia led the children, catching bubbles with nets and wands. Theo chased a runaway bubble, tripped over his own feet, and landed in a soft pile of suds. Everyone laughed. "Got it!" Theo giggled, popping the bubble with his nose. Bobo used his big paws to gently guide bubbles down to the ground. 8
Pip climbed a ladder and attached her hose to a special nozzle. She sprayed a gentle mist that made the bubbles shrink. "This will help them land softly," she said. Bobo held the hose steady. "I'm sorry for all this trouble," he said. Pip smiled. "Mistakes happen. What matters is that you're helping to fix it." 9
One by one, the bubbles popped, and the houses floated back to the ground. The townspeople cheered as their homes landed with gentle thumps. Bobo worked hard, his duck hat bobbing as he caught bubbles. Mia and Theo high-fived. "We're doing it!" Mia shouted. The town was slowly coming back down to earth. 10
But the biggest bubble of all was still floating high above the tallest house. It held the town clock! "That's the last one," Pip said. "We need to be careful." Bobo took a deep breath. "I'll get it," he said. He climbed onto a roof and reached up with his scrub brush. "Come here, big bubble," he coaxed. 11
Bobo stretched as far as he could, but the bubble was just out of reach. Theo tossed him a net. "Use this!" Bobo caught the net and gently scooped the giant bubble. It wobbled and shimmered. Slowly, he guided it down. Pop! The clock landed safely in the square. Everyone clapped and cheered for Bobo. 12
The town was back on the ground, and everything was in its place. The mayor shook Bobo's paw. "Thank you for your help," she said. Bobo blushed. "I'm sorry for the trouble. I learned that taking responsibility means helping to fix our mistakes." Pip nodded. "And you did a great job." Mia and Theo hugged Bobo tightly. 13
To celebrate, the town held a bubble festival. Bobo promised to use only a tiny drop of soap from now on. Pip set up a bubble machine that made perfect, small bubbles. Children danced and laughed as bubbles floated around them. Bobo wore his duck hat and smiled his wide, fangy smile. He felt lucky to have such good friends. 14
From that day on, Bobo was careful with his magical soap. He still loved bubble baths, but he always measured the soap with a small cup. And whenever someone made a mistake, Bobo remembered to help fix it. The town cheered for their bubbly hero, and Bobo knew that being responsible was the best feeling of all. 15
And if you ever visit that cozy little town, you might see Bobo splashing in his tub, with just the right amount of bubbles. Mia and Theo might wave as they walk by, and Pip might be fixing a pipe nearby. The houses stay on the ground, and everyone lives happily, remembering the day the bubbles lifted the town and brought everyone together.
